Collar Club, a London-based luxury menswear online subscription start-up, has successfully raised and closed a seed round of funding of over 300,000 pounds.

The funding round will be primarily used to market the new service within London and help further develop the startup's current offering.

By combining certain aspects from current online services, such as Rent the Runway, Made and Trunk, Collar Club aims to revolutionize the menswear market in the UK, whilst helping City men create a high quality and current wardrobe.

Collar Club is a premium shirt subscription service which offers members 11 made-to-order shirts for 95 pounds a month. At the start of each new membership, the firm supplies each member with 11 customized shirts, from the highest quality Italian fabrics. The online shirt subscription also offers to collect worn shirts and supply members with 5 laundered shirts per week as well, tapping into the growing market of curated menswear in the UK.

"We exist to give our members precious free time as that is the one thing they lack. We relieve our members from the hassle of selecting, buying and replacing their clothes," explains Hasan Mustafa, founder and chief executive officer of the Collar Club. "We then also take care of all post buying activities like laundering, repairs, collecting, dropping clothes."

Collar Club aims to first focus on developing it's current offer of quality shirts before expanding the subscription service. "Plans are in place to expand the range of clothing as well as launch in other cities and countries with similar demographics to London with curation at its heart," added Mustafa.

"Collar Club acts as a full service luxury shirt concierge, dedicated to Jermyn Street quality with an added weekly laundry service element, making life Monday to Friday a lot less ordinary and allowing Collar Club members to get on with something much more enjoyable for those five days of their lives."
