Based in Los Angeles, Borkowski, the company said in a release, has joined Dune to drive development of the Dune London brand and business in the US market. Customer reactions to the partnerships with Nordstrom and Dillard’s online and in stores have been strong, and the business has substantial development plans within the US based on the demand and opportunity for its distinctive quality product and design.
She brings extensive brand experience from across the retail sector, most recently as head of sales for Ted Baker where she was positioned for five years.
Commenting on Borkowski’s appointment, the company’s CEO Nigel Darwin said: “We are very excited to welcome Lindsey to the Dune London team, bringing her wealth of experience and working with great partners in the US. We all share a strong belief in the potential of the Dune brand in the US and we look forward to building a fantastic business”.
Borkowski started her career at fashion house Chloe, followed by Jimmy Choo leading to becoming sales manager at brand Rag and Bone.
