Ellen MacArthur Foundation joins AMCIRC as Insights Partner
Circular fashion charity Ellen MacArthur Foundation has joined the American Circular Textiles (AMCIRC) coalition as an Insights Partner.
The title represents a new participation category for the AMCIRC that allows partnered organisations to work together on shared goals advancing circular textiles systems in North America and beyond.
The foundation will take part in membership meetings, events, and activities, exchanging information and insights to support policy and circular economy initiatives.
AMCIRC’s founder and chief executive officer, Rachel Kibbe, said the organisation was pleased to welcome the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, whose “research and systems-level thinking on circularity have shaped this field for over a decade”.
Meanwhile, the foundation’s executive lead for North America, Danielle Holly, acknowledged the coalition’s work to educate companies and US stakeholders on textile policy.
“We’re glad to be collaborating with them to drive circularity in fashion and textiles at a national level,” Holly added.
