Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci is following in the footsteps of Roberto Cavalli and consolidating its employees under a single roof in its offices in Milan. However, unlike its peer, Emilio Pucci will not be cutting any roles.

All 46 employees currently based in Florence have been offer the chance to move to Milan by next March and trade unions have been informed of the fashion house’s decision. The move, which is part of an internal restructuring, sees the LVMH-owned brand focusing all its commercial and design activities in its offices in Milan. "The objective is to achieve a greater effectiveness and an improved operational synergy," said the Italian fashion house in a statement.

The brand’s manufacturing division, located in Bologna, remains unaffected by the new strategy as Emilio Pucci’s aims to streamline its business through two hubs, rather than three. At the moment it remains unclear what the fashion house will do with its current head office in the Palazzo Pucci, located in the heart of Florence.
