Fast Retailing Q3 profits climb 4 percent

Fast Retailing reported its net profit for Q3 grew on Thursday. Revenues surged by 7 percent from the same period last year.
The company's net profit for Q3 was 247.2 billion yen, grew from 237.4 billion yen a year earlier. Revenues grew to 1.8228 trillion yen.
Fast Retailing (TYO: 9983) is a Japanese retail company best known for its primary subsidiary Uniqlo. The company, which was founded in 1963, owns several brands, including J Brand, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Foot Park, G.U., Princesse Tam-Tam and Theory. Uniqlo currently counts over 2000 retail stores world wide.
As of 2019, Fast Retailing has more than 52,800 employees and operates over 2,100 stores.
