Growth across all regions: Pandora reports solid third-quarter sales increase
Danish jewellery retailer Pandora A/S has further increased its revenue in the third quarter of the 2026 financial year, despite challenging market conditions. Profit was also higher than in the prior-year period, according to an interim report published by the company on Wednesday.
Group revenue amounted to 6.69 billion Danish kroner (1.01 billion dollars), representing a 7 percent year-over-year increase. Adjusted for currency fluctuations, revenue rose by 6 percent, while organic growth also reached 6 percent. This growth was driven by the opening of new stores and a 4 percent like-for-like sales increase.
The company achieved growth across all market regions. On an organic basis, revenue in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region increased by 4 percent. Sales rose by 4 percent in North America and 3 percent in Latin America. Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific region recorded a 22 percent increase, driven by strong growth in Japan.
Management refines full-year guidance
Due to tariff refunds in the US, efficiency improvements and a targeted reduction in promotional discounting, the gross margin rose to 83.7 percent, up from 79.3 percent in the prior-year quarter. Consequently, operating profit (EBIT) increased by 21 percent to 1.06 billion Danish kroner. Reported net profit grew by 6 percent to 517 million Danish kroner.
Following the latest figures, management has refined its guidance for the current financial year. It now expects organic revenue growth of between 2 and 3 percent, narrowing the previous target range of zero to 3 percent. The forecast range for the EBIT margin has been narrowed to between 22.5 and 23 percent, compared to the previous expectation of 22 to 23 percent. Furthermore, the company has raised its EBIT margin guidance for the upcoming 2027 financial year to between 14 and 15 percent, up from the previous forecast of at least 12 percent.
