High street fashion company Jigsaw may be considering a sale of its business. Jigsaw has held talks with financial advisers about a possible sale of the UK fashion brand, according to sources cited by the Sunday Times.
Owners John Robinson and former wife Bella are understood to be considering a sale of a majority or minority stake, or a float of the business. They have held talks with banks including Rothschild but are yet to appoint an adviser.
The business, which has been run by former John Lewis director Peter Ruis since 2013, saw sales last year jump 18.5 percent to 89.5 million pounds and adjusted earnings rocketed 187 percent to 5.4 million pounds, accounts filed by parent company Robinson Webster show.
The chain operates over 70 standalone stores including a flagship on the London’s King's Road and 36 concessions, mainly in John Lewis department stores.
