London Fashion Week designer Jonathan Saunders has obtained investment for his eponymous label from Eiesha Bharti Pasricha, in order to support the label's expansion and "lay the foundations for the brand's future growth," confirmed a spokesperson for the brand to British Vogue on Friday morning.

Eiesha Bharti Pasricha is also known as the investor behind Roksanda's Ilincic's namesake brand, helping the designer expand her label by overseeing her growth scheme, which included the appointment of Carmela Acampora as its first chief executive officer and opening Roksanda Ilincic first flagship store on Mount Street, London last year.

"I am delighted to enter into a partnership with Jonathan Saunders and am excited at the proposition of working closely alongside one of Britain's most talented designers," said Pasricha. "Jonathan brings with him passion, ambition and a creative flair that translates itself into easy, wearable pieces that every woman's wardrobe must have."

"I am thrilled to be working with Eiesha in this new phase of the brand," added Saunders. "There is a special quality to this investment for me as we enjoy a shared ambition for the business and joint vision for the brand." The announcement came not long after Saunder's confirmed his Autumn/Winter 15 show on schedule for London Fashion Week, which is set to take place February 22, at the Tate Britain.
