Marks & Spencer expands Zalando logistics partnership across 22 European markets
British department store giant Marks & Spencer has expanded its partnership with Zalando’s B2B logistics arm Zeos, which now oversees the retailer’s entire online direct-to-consumer business across 22 continental European markets.
The partnership, first announced in November 2025, builds on Marks & Spencer's existing relationship with Zalando Fulfilment Solutions, which since 2022 has handled orders placed through Zalando, About You and Amazon. The retailer previously said the move to Zeos was expected to support further online growth while reducing logistics costs and improving delivery and returns.
A trial in Poland earlier this month has provided an indication of the opportunity, with customer demand rising 22 percent and conversion increasing 97 percent. The rollout has now extended to key markets including France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
Zeos’ fulfilment network and shared stock pool have reduced delivery costs by up to 58 percent, while returns processing has fallen from as long as 35 days to eight. For Marks & Spencer, the infrastructure provides a more scalable way to grow its international fashion business without having to build out its own logistics network market by market.
The move follows Marks & Spencer’s continued expansion across European digital platforms, with the retailer most recently adding womenswear, menswear and kidswear to Amazon’s Dutch platform, following launches in Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Fashion is already available through Zalando in the Netherlands, which the company has identified as its second-best performing market.
In a statement, Mark Lemming, Marks & Spencer's managing director of International, said: “As demand for our fashion products grow across Europe, it's vital that we offer a seamless online shopping experience that matches the quality of our product. By partnering with Zeos, we're able to improve speed, availability and service for customers, while creating a more efficient and scalable platform to support our future growth in Europe.”
