Liam Gallagher's menswear retail chain Pretty Green is seeing great success, especially with its e-commerce business, which has increased by 41 percent year-on-year. Likewise, its like-for-like sales in the final six weeks of 2014 were up 33 percent on the same period the year before.
"We are particularly pleased with our record performance over the Christmas period, but also for the whole first quarter of this financial year. We have seen positive trading across all our channels to market continue over the entire three-month period, with record sales in the last six weeks to the end of December," Richard Ralph, Pretty Green CEO, commented.
The company explains the great figures to record website visits and completed transactions.
In the same vein, international sales grew by 12 percent compared to the same period in 2013, boosted by the brand penetration in Japan, where the retailer currently operates five stores. Pretty Green is also looking to expand further internationally over the course of the next 12 months, although has yet to identify target markets.
Wholesale revenues at the business for the last part of the year were up 37 percent compared to 2013.
