Shoe Zone expects adjusted loss under one million pounds following positive July trading
UK footwear retailer Shoe Zone has reported positive trading throughout July 2026, leading to a stronger cash position than originally budgeted. As of July 25, 2026, cash and equivalents stood at approximately 7 million pounds (9.45 million dollars) ahead of original projections.
Consequently, the company maintains its expectation of an adjusted loss before tax of no greater than 1 million pounds for the financial year ending October 3, 2026.
The board of Shoe Zone confirmed that adjusted loss figures exclude foreign exchange gains and losses.
The UK retailer currently operates from a portfolio of 253 stores across the UK, employing approximately 2,050 staff. Its footprint includes 44 original high street stores alongside 209 larger format locations.
The larger format stores stock additional footwear brands, including Skechers, Hush Puppies, Rieker, and Lilley & Skinner.
