Swiss undergarment company Calida is set to acquire more shares from French sportswear brand Lafuma, increasing its participation to 87.7 percent of the shares.

The shares were bought from CDC Entreprises Elan PME, which held 8.54 percent of the company’s capital, at the price of 17.99 euro (15.78 pounds) per share.

Calida and CDC Entreprises signed the contract yesterday, June 14, and the transaction is set to be completed in the upcoming days.

The Swiss company acquired the majority of Lafuma’s shares in 2013, with the aim to increase its market share in France. Lafuma owns Millet, Eider and Oxbow, among other brands, while Calida owned lingerie brand Aubade.

Headquartered in Annecy, Lafuma had a net profit of 5.4 million euros in 2017. That is quite a jump for the French company, which closed 2016 at a loss of 1.2 million euros.
