UKTI to offer intellectual property master class

Fashion brands and designers wondering how Brexit will affect their intellectual property rights can take advantage of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) for a master class in IPR.

The class will cover topics including design rights, trademarks, Internet domain names, dispute resolution, and international registration systems.

The UK’s exit from Europe is expected to result in a number of changes to trademark and design law. Community trademarks and registered designs automatically cover all EU member countries. Additional legislation will be required if the protection afforded by such unitary rights is to continue to extend to the UK.

The UKTI's master class is a practical workshop that will be supported with real life case studies. It will take place in London on 26 July and tickets cost 120 pounds.
