Yoox Group reported two consecutive daily sales records on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, with the latter breaking the group's 'all-time daily record' for sales.

The group's multi-brand digital stores include Yoox.com, shoescribe.com and thecorner.com, as well as a number of mono-brand online stores that are managed by the group, ranging from Giorgio Armani to Alexandar Wang.

During Black Friday alone, the Italian online retailer reported 1.5 million shoppers visiting it's 40 digital stores as the group received an order every 3.5 seconds from international consumers around the globe. The group noted that the majority of its orders came from North America, where the two days are established as the start of the holiday season but added that excitement for the retail bonanza had traveled to Europe as well, “driving outstanding growth in the UK, Italy, Germany and Russia.”

Yoox's online sales in Asia were boosted by shoppers in China, where sales reportedly increased nearly fourfold, with Hong Kong sales more than doubling. The Italian e-tailer also noticed a increase in the number of mobile shoppers, with 46 percent of its visitors accessing the group's sites from a mobile device, with the UK being the most “mobile country.”

The Group now has its sights on luring in even more shoppers with its Cyber Monday deals, which range from an extra 20 percent off all items on Yoox.com, including sale items to 40 percent off the Autumn/Winter collections on shoescribe.com and thecorner.com.
