“Brooklyn´s Own by Rocawear is zLabels´ first licensing partnership next to our 15 private brands. We believe in the power of established brands in addition to our own organic brand development and are extremely excited to bring ‘Brooklyn´s Own’ product to our core consumers," said Jan Wilmking, Managing Director of zLabels GmbH.
The agreement between the two companies will see the launch of Brooklyn’s Own by Rocawear in 15 countries, joining it’s older, more premium label Rocawear which is currently present in Europe in over a dozen markets.
The diffusion label provides a lower entry price for customers and also is aimed at a younger audience, to help increase the brand’s presence online. “This is an exciting partnership for all of us,” commented Angela Farrugia, Managing Director, Iconix Europe.
“The growth of internet retailing to younger audiences is undeniable, and it is a first for both Zalando and Iconix to forge this powerful direct agreement.”
