Mert & Marcus exhibition to debut in London

London-based fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott, better known as Mert & Marcus, are to exhibit a collection of their work from 2001 and 2014 for the first time.

Turkish-born Alas and Welshman Pigott met in 1994, and have collaborated on some of modern fashion's most iconic campaigns and shoots, from Gucci to Miu Miu to Loewe and Versace, the duo have captured everyone from supermodels to celebrities.

The exhibition will celebrate the duo's 20th anniversary and is made possible in collaboration with Art Partner. The works will be on display at auction house Phillips in Mayfair in London before traveling to Paris.

18 works, nine black and white and nine colour, will be up for sale for the first time, featuring models including Cara Delevingne, Guinevere van Seenus, Kate Moss, Karen Elson, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova.

The exhibition runs from October 24 - November 3 at Phillips, 30 Berkeley Square, London. Prints are expected to cost 16,000 pounds and upwards.
