Chic makes the move from Beijing to Shanghai for March 2015

Asia's largest fashion trade fair, China International Fashion Fair Chic, is introducing a number of new changes in honor of its move to Shanghai, after being based in Beijing for 22 years.
Running from March 18 to 20, 2015 the 23rd edition of Chic will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (NECC), one of the most modern fairgrounds which spans 500,000 square meters. Chic Shanghai will be running simultaneously with Intertextile at the NECC, offering visitors the chance to see the apparel trade event.
The upcoming event will take place in four different halls, covering a total of 108,000 square meters and see the segmentation of separate areas, with a new section named 'International Fashion Journey'. This new addition welcomes international participants from all over the world and returning exhibitors from France, Italy, Germany, Turkey whilst connecting Chinese industry professionals to the latest brands emerging from Europe and Asia.
Another new development to Chic Shanghai is the change of layout. The event's former lifestyle areas will be highlights in new segments such as 'In Signature', which will feature influential Chinese fashion labels, 'Prestige,' for menswear labels and 'Bespoke' for tailor-made menswear brands or hand-made shoes, 'Urban View' featuring casual and sportswear brands, 'New Look' for women's wear labels, 'Secret Stars', featuring fashion accessories brands, 'Impulses' presenting young designers, 'Heritage' for leather, fur and outdoor labels, 'Kid's Paradise' for children's wear and 'Future Link' showcasing the newest fashion technological systems.
In order to better serve it's international visitors and exhibitors, CHIC has established consultancy networks. The trade event will be working closely with Zhong Yan International Brand Management Consultancy Group and China Commercial Circulation Association of Textile and Apparel. Chic will also offer several additional services prior, during and after the shows, arrange 'match-making' meetings, visitors tours, seminars, informal gatherings as well as fashion shows.
