Industry sourcing event and trade show Fashion SVP has doubled in size over the past two years, reporting a 40 percent growth since its previous edition to count over 100 exhibitors from 15 countries.

The show has grown so fast that is has now surpassed all expectations from the original launch in 2012, when the show took place with just 17 exhibitors. Now trade fair organizers have announced plans to launch a second annual edition. This season's edition, which is now sold out, is set to run from June 28 to 29 in Olympia, London, will welcome more than 100 leading apparel manufacturers and sourcing companies.

"Fashion SVP’s growth in exhibitors and visitors has been spectacular, showing how much demand there is for this kind of show," commented show director Buzz Carter in a statement. "From a tiny event in 2012 we’ve grown into a major international hub for the sourcing community, more than doubling the size since 2014."

In addition to growing in size and numbers, this season of Fashion SVP will see the show feature an Innovations Focus area which will showcase an examination of 3D printing and its potential impact on the fashion industry. "For June, we’ll have over 100 leading producers of knitwear, wovens and jersey wear exhibiting, and exciting 3D printing feature and a seminar programme led by experienced experts who will get right to the heart of sourcing know-how, and a fantastic 3D printing feature," added Carter.
