Scoop and the City, the combined fashion trade show consisting of Scoop and Scoop London, closed its doors last week at its on-off summer location at the Old Billingsgate in London.

The event saw an uplift in buyers, who came to browse the 200 plus UK and international premium collection on display amidst dozens of flower installations as part of this season's theme 'The English Garden'. Running from July 24 to 26, the trade show's one of a kind cross-pollination of fashion, fine jewellery and accessories is rapidly gaining recognition throughout the industry as a 'must visit' event, drawing in buyers from Liberty, Fenwick, Fortnum and Mason, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Anthropologie.

"Our summer Scoop and the City edition has seen a successful increase in quality buyers both from the UK and overseas, including not only independents but major players in multi-store retailers and departments stores," said Karen Radley, Founder and Managing Director of Scoop. "Combining both Scoop and Scoop London has been a positive decision, creating a platform for both established and new emerging designers and offering something new for our buyers."
