Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) taps Lulu Kennedy to curate the special projects area of the upcoming Scandinavian showcase taking place August 10-12.
The British designer and founder/director of London’s Fashion East and Man showcases will be curating Crystal Hall, which houses premium womenswear and menswear brands, as well as a special projects area inside Raven, which aims to innovate the tradeshow experience through presentation and live events.
On a press release from the organisers it states that both areas will be “creative, interactive and experiential spaces” featuring a selection of womenswear and menswear that all come with Kennedy’s “stamp of approval”.
Copenhagen International Fashion Fair fashion and design director, Kristian W. Andersen, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Lulu as a part of the CIFF family. Her body of work speaks for itself and we are in sync with our shared goal to make CIFF even more innovative and the leading fashion fair in northern Europe. I look forward to our collaboration.”
Kennedy added: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to collaborate with the team at CIFF; their skills and progressive attitude are totally on point and feel relevant to the direction in which fashion is moving.
“The ideas are right and energy is great; I’m looking forward to bringing new brands to enjoy the scene in Copenhagen this summer.”
