Pure London rounded up its second day with the launch of the inaugural Best of British Independent Retailer Awards, which recognises the success and triumphs of indie retailers throughout the UK.
The award ceremony took place on the women’s wear catwalk and was presented by Julie Driscoll, Portfolio Director for Pure London at i2i Events Group, Vicky Ogden, Head of Footwear and Accessories at Pure London, and Melissa Wheeler, Retail Columnist at FAB and partner of the event.
Dave Conaghan from Chocolate Clothing also acknowledged the hard work his team put in: “We’re overwhelmed to have won. It’s a great honour to achieve recognition from the very first trade show we came to eight years ago. This award is a reflection on just how good our team is.” Jeremy Clayton of Javelin said, “It’s our 25th anniversary so it’s especially exciting to have won this award. We’ve got our biggest buying team at Pure London and we’re looking forward to celebrating with the rest of the Javelin team.”
Following the awards ceremony, Pure hosted an evening catwalk presentation, which focused on statement pieces taken across Womenswear, Footwear and Accessories at Pure London.
