Visitors of German menswear trade fair Selvedge Run will have to change the addresses in their diaries for next season, as the event has relocated to run alongside fellow Berlin trade show Panorama Berlin.

Selvedge Run, which specialises in denim and quality crafted goods, is set move into the Marshall House at Messe Berlin for its next edition, running from January 16 to 18, 2018. The shift sees both events running at the same location simultaneously while remaining independent from each other. The move is set to aid both parties as they will benefit from “the synergies created by the joint location.”

The move follows on from the relocation of other Berlin trade fairs such as the Green Showroom, the Ethical Fashion Show and Show & Order. In addition, Selvedge Run will run alongside Panorama’s Nova Concept segment, which includes denim, casual and lifestyle brands. “The two concepts complement each other in a really exciting way, offering many new sources of inspiration – above all for department stores and progressively oriented buyers,” said Panorama Berlin in a statement.

The agreement also sees Selvedge Run and Panorama working together to improve visitor services and improving quality for buyers visiting both events. “The cooperation with Selvedge Run gives us the opportunity to further develop our product portfolio for Nova Concept,” said Jörg Wichmann, CEO of Panorama. “The result will be a very interesting product range for the denim and progressive casual markets, one that will really appeal to national and international trade show visitors.”
