WeAr Select announces scheme for debut edition

London's newest fashion trade fair, WeAr Select, has announced its brand list for its premier edition this coming January. Presenting 35 key pieces from over 150 brands from around the world, the B2B event is set to showcase brands such as Hudson, J-Brand, Victorinox and Gaastra. In addition, the trade fair will also present up and coming brands such as Nagatani, Jason Ashley and Daniel Won.

Running from January 9 to 10, 2016 the new trade fair, which is organized by the co-founder of Berlin-based fashion trade fair Premium and the creator of WeAr Global Magazine, Klaus Vogel, the event aims to bring to life the pages of the trade publication it shares its name with. The trade fair aims to connect brand and buyers after the show through both digital and print media channels that will be provided by the WeAr global group.

WeAr Select also aims to provide dedicated trend information and context to its viriots through its partnership with WGSN, who are set to present the trend for Autumn/Winter 2016-2017. In order to fulfill its overall goal of revolutionizing the fashion trade show scene, WeAr Select will also combine the essence of art fair during its first event. The trade fair organizers have arranged to have work from artists such as Banksy, Louis Nicolas Darbon and Carne Griffiths presented in galleries such as the West London Art Gallery, Graffik and Crome Art.
