Unexpectedly, the 20th edition of the Netherlands' Modefabriek fashion fair turned out to be more successful than ever. Over 400 current fashion collections, shows, speeches and exhibitions created the perfect vibe The Amsterdam fair was attended by an exceptionally high number of visitors: 11,000 in two days. "The driving factor of this success is the high quality of exhibitors at Modefabriek. All international fashion trends were represented at the fair, and Scandinavia proved to be one of the leading fashion suppliers of the moment," said the organisation.
The 20th edition of the Modefabriek fashion fair was held in the RAI building in Amsterdam. The Scandinavians are especially well represented. Modefabriek invited the most influential of the Scandinavian designers to exhibit their wares: from established brands such as Day and Bruuns Bazar, to lesser known trendsetters like Odd Molly, Whiite, Tiger of Sweden, and House of Dagmar.
Glam & Glow is the fastest growing segment of the fair. There were twice as many high-fashion collections showcasing a designer flair within this segment this edition, which provided an exciting international offering. Les Colours Nationales from Sweden was among the newcomers, as were the Asian designer collections of Harrison Wong and Magali Pascal, fantastic Italian brands such as Ltd Fornarina and Otitude, plus the newest design talent of Cootz from the Ukraine.
For the first time Modefabriek and the accessories fair Fashion Items were held at the same location.
