Bonmarché taps new Product Director

Following news that its former CEO, Beth Butterwick, is set to exit her role to take up the reins at Karen Millen, value fashion retailer is "delighted" to announce the appointment of Geraldine Higgins, as Product Director.

In her new role, which started on January 4, Geraldine will be responsible for driving and implementing Bonmarché new product strategy whilst working together with the Trading Board to help push the company's broader strategy. The cross functional collaboration of her new will be valuable to the ongoing growth of Bonmarché.

She bring with her "extensive experience" within the fashion industry, previously serving Monsoon as Brand Director. She also held senior positions in a number of retail business, such as Sainsbury’s, Etam Group (The Netherlands) and Matalan.

"We are delighted to welcome Geraldine to Bonmarché," said CEO Butterwick. "Her wealth of experience means she is well-placed to support us in the development of our product modernisation process. To deliver this, she will focus on both current and new sourcing opportunities to ensure Bonmarché continues to offer customers contemporary, style-appropriate, good quality products at fantastic prices."
