Liquitex Launches World First Recycled Waste2Wear Art Canvas

After months of R&D, Waste2Wear is proud to announce a collaboration with Liquitex to deliver the first ever sustainable art canvasses. Innovation is at the core of Waste2Wear – as a pioneer in turning plastic waste into fabrics, finished garments and other textile goods, this launch is a positive development for the art world.

Liquitex believes in empowering community, innovating products and packaging, and integrating sustainability into their business practices. The launch of Liquitex Recycled Canvas with Waste2Wear is a major first step in delivering a product range with sustainability at its heart. These canvasses function and perform the way a traditional canvas does, but with the added benefit of reducing impact on the environment. The product range features canvas cloth made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, fastened on a FSC certified frame. Ideal for acrylics or oils, it’s available in a choice of 20 stretched canvas sizes or an un-primed canvas roll. The Waste2Wear blockchain transparency to deliver 100% traceable and sustainable textiles was an important deciding factor in choosing a trustworthy partner to deliver the best.
