Manufacturing and supply chain expo Pure Origin, taking place alongside Festival of Fashion Pure London on the 21st – 23rd July at London Olympia, will place the spotlight on future orientated materials with innovative and creative textile technologies from Korea, as well as the modernity, exoticism and creativity that Moroccan design and manufacturing offers, with the launch of two new Country Pavilions.

The Korean Pavilion, organised by the Korea Textile Trade Association (KTTA), will present Innovation Korea; a variety of clothing and textiles specialising in premium mixed fabrics, wovens and knits, offering new possibilities, inspiration, and new trends and technology.

Namhee Kim, Global Marketing Manager, Korea Textile Trade Association says; “Due to the individuality of consumer characteristics, trends in fashion materials are diversifying, market boundaries collapsing and standard marketplaces disappearing. In order to meet the changes and the demands of the times, the Korean textile industry is promoting future-oriented textile materials with premium as a representative keyword for ‘Innovation Korea’.”

AMDIE, the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency, will showcase the best of Moroccan footwear, accessories, clothing, textiles and leather in the Morocco Now Pavilion. Hind Saidi from AMDIE says: “Besides being a big industrial base, Morocco is also a mix between exoticism and modernity which makes creativity a milestone of our culture. For Morocco, the penetration of UK market came up as a natural next step in our future business strategy. In fact, the two kingdoms have a lot in common in terms of sharing the same time slot, having a geographical proximity and their willingness to have the best cost quality products, and many Moroccan companies already have a tight business relationship with well-established UK brands.”

Pure Origin continues to evolve into the UK’s number one destination for sourcing and manufacturing, knowledge and solutions. As a convenient and cost-effective way for buyers to meet with UK and international manufacturers, Pure Origin brings together over 200 exhibitors from dozens of countries to create a wide range of business and networking opportunities, new thinking and innovation. Garment and fabric suppliers, denim and textile designers and technology brands attract buyers, sourcing, and technical personnel from the likes of Asos, White Stuff, Victoria Beckham, River Island, JD Sports, Marks & Spencer and Selfridges.

Pure London and Pure Origin takes place at London Olympia from the 21st – 23rd July 2019. Visit Purelondon.com for further information and highlights from the latest show.
