The largest and most successful edition of Supreme Women&Men yet

The latest edition of Supreme Women&Men, which closes its gates today, broke all the records: almost 1,000 collections on more floor space than ever drew unparalleled interest from retailers and left exhibitors at Munich more than satisfied

Munich, February 12, 2019. – "You have to exploit the opportunities you're given, and that's just what we did – with immense success. We believe Munich to be the ideal place to close the trade show season. And our exhibitors and buyers seem to share this view." The Supreme Group Member of the Executive Board Aline-Müller-Schade looks back on a record-breaking fashion event.

When additional floor space became available at MTC world of fashion, the order show organizers decided to expand and present Supreme Women&Men with more collections than ever before. The wide portfolio and atmospheric presentation made the event a true crowning finale of the order season. Exhibitors and buyers alike were highly satisfied.

"Expanding our floor space and, consequently, our portfolio has proven to be the right decision. The great feedback we have received from exhibitors and retailers alike is a testament to that. We believe in Munich as a fashion location and are thrilled to contribute to this positive trend," said Aline Müller-Schade.

Mirela Stanoiu, CEO of Donna GmbH, shares this view from the buyers' perspective: "I'm deeply impressed. This year, there are exceptionally beautiful collections from top brands, and the exhibitor roster includes many major agencies. I'm also thrilled to find all relevant offerings at one place so I won't have to go all across town to see everything."

Concentrated focus in the showrooms, business talk in the VIP area

The Supreme Group invested in this finale of the order season in order to provide a platform for good business to exhibitors and buyers. By adding newly available floor space, Supreme Women&Men Munich was able to offer even more labels, agencies, and collections a home.

In total, more than 950 collections by national and international brands, designers, and labels were on display.

Exhibitors rated the show a huge success. Urs Göppert, Agency Göppert, stated: "The whole setting is superb, with a great atmosphere and perfect organization. The main focus at Supreme is always on the product, and we were able to attract a lot of new business."

Besides the focused and modern atmosphere in the showrooms, Supreme Women&Men offered trade show participants another great environment for industry talks and orders: the new VIP area, tailored to the needs and requirements of buyers, was a popular spot for all those who wanted to network and talk or take a break from it all.

The perfect platform at the perfect time and place

Throughout the four days of the event, the VIP area turned into an industry hotspot where the latest trends and industry news were discussed.

"We see an increase in orders over last year, mainly in our core segment fashion, but also for shoes and accessories. Our trade show presents the perfect offering at the right time and place, bringing together just the right people. We are very happy to have hit this sweet spot," said Aline Müller-Schade.

Elke Strbenac, representative for Agent for Shoes & Accessoires, Düsseldorf, comes to the same conclusion: "The show was a huge success. Being here has certainly paid off. Munich is ideally located for an event like this because its easily accessible to visitors from neighboring countries. The exhibitor and buyer portfolio is outstanding. We offer collections 'Made in Europe' and need the personal contact at trade shows to set ourselves off against mass merchandise."

Established in June 2007 with two order platforms, The Supreme Group now organizes eleven trade shows, presenting international brands and agencies at the venues B1 in Düsseldorf and MTC world of fashion, house 1, in Munich. All shows offer spacious, airy platforms as well as top-end premium booth concepts and display options.

Our initiatives include switching to more energy-efficient LED lighting in both our locations (MTC in Munich and B1 in Düsseldorf), creating new, plastic-free badges, and regularly supporting children's charities.
