Cheshire Fashion Week 2026 Celebrates Record Turnout as Event Moves to Manchester Cathedral for 2027

Cheshire Fashion Week concluded its 2026 edition with a sold-out showcase that brought together international designers, major high-street label, and a strong industry focus on sustainable craftsmanship. The Cheshire event attracted over 600 participants, including 350 seated guests at the evening gala and approximately 250 behind-the-scenes professionals spanning modelling, design, styling, photography, and production.

The showcase opened with a high-profile runway presentation from MANGO Chester, marking the brand's presence ahead of its new city-centre store launch. The Spanish retailer's participation reflects a growing relationship between global commercial fashion and sustainability ethos.

Sustainability remained a central narrative throughout the event, with fashion presentations steering audience attention toward longevity, material integrity, and conscious consumption. Designers from the USA, Portugal, Ireland, Nigeria, and the UK presented collections that prioritized durability, artisanal techniques, and design-led alternatives to fast-fashion.

A cross-sector collaboration allowed Porsche Centre Wilmslow to integrate car design with fashion beautifully. Alongside the catwalk, guests engaged with Porsche model cars, further cementing Cheshire Fashion Week's status as a celebration of heritage, style, and performance.

The 2026 edition was officially opened by The Lord Mayor of Chester, lending civic endorsement to an event that has steadily grown into a fixture in the North West's cultural and retail calendar.

Looking ahead, organisers have confirmed that Cheshire Fashion Week will return on 21 August 2027, relocating to Manchester Cathedral. The move from Chester to Manchester signals an ambitious next chapter, expanding capacity and accessibility while maintaining the event's commitment to showcasing Northern, British, and international fashion talent on a single platform.
