French luxury house Dior, part of LVMH, has released a preview of its cruise 2027 campaign ahead of the full launch on October 22, when the collection arrives in stores. The campaign was shot by photographer Sam Rock at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the venue of the cruise 2027 show.
It features actors Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee, Taylor Russell and Drew Starkey, who are shown moving through the museum's galleries as versions of themselves. According to Dior, each of the four has a personal interest in art, which the images are built around.
Colour is central to the campaign. Creative director Jonathan Anderson's palette for the collection draws on California, the Technicolor era of Hollywood and Pop Art.
New bags and an Ed Ruscha collaboration
Much of the preview is given over to new bag styles. Lee carries the Dior Double, a two-handled satchel, while Russell is shown with the Dior Initials Hobo, a triangular shape with stitched cannage, the quilted pattern associated with the house.
Starkey wears the Dior Double-Up Messenger, an oversized bag with double buckles and flaps. The campaign also features the Dior Granville line, including a black leather shopper and a suede duffle with contrast cannage stitching.
Starkey is further pictured in shirts from Dior's collaboration with American artist Ed Ruscha, printed with text from his work. Claude Monet's 'Water Lilies', which hangs at the museum and appears throughout the series, links the campaign to the water lily motif of Dior's autumn/winter 2026 collection.
