Lyle & Scott expands Reactive Series with new AW26 styles

Lyle & Scott is expanding its Reactive product range for AW26, adding new knitwear and outerwear styles that respond to heat, UV light, water and low-light conditions. The Reactive Series draws on the brand's 152-year heritage as a springboard for design experimentation.
Heat Reactive moves into knitwear
Heat Reactive technology continues across outerwear, with the brand's shell jacket joined by a new quilted jacket and gilet. All three styles arrive in Washed Brown / Cove, shifting from a darker brown to a lighter beige tone when exposed to heat. For the first time, the technology also moves into knitwear, with the Relaxed Crew Neck Jumper transitioning from Ice Blue to White.
Water and UV Reactive additions
New for AW26, Water Reactive Shell Jackets are introduced in Olive Green, Blue / Purple and Black. Each colourway reveals a 3-D-effect Lyle & Scott pattern across the fabric when exposed to water.
The range also adds UV Reactive knitwear, with the Relaxed Crew Neck Jumper changing from White to Washed Purple under UV light.
Glow-in-the-dark styles
Glow-in-the-Dark pieces mark another new development within the range, including a Stone Beige Relaxed Crew Neck Jumper and a White Wadded Shell Jacket, both of which illuminate in low-light conditions.
By testing new technologies and pushing familiar silhouettes into new territory, Lyle & Scott continues to build on its heritage while looking ahead.
The Lyle & Scott Reactive Series for AW26 launches exclusively online at lyleandscott.com on 27 August 2026.
