MAISON DEUX X COPENHAGEN STUDIOS introduce a woolen ode to winter comfort: The Hygge Blanket

Copenhagen Studios and Maison Deux have teamed up to launch the Hygge Blanket, a 100% New Zealand wool statement piece that blends Scandi minimalism with a cheeky sense of humor. Featuring Maison Deux’s playful “butt print in the snow” design, each hand-finished blanket is sustainably made, individually numbered, and crafted to warm both body and soul.

Designed by Maison Deux for CPH Studios, the Hygge Blanket captures a playful moment of Nordic coziness—featuring a subtle yet unmistakable butt print in the snow. It’s a tongue-in-cheek take on Scandinavian comfort culture: warm, whimsical, and undeniably soft.

“We wanted to create something that makes people smile while still being genuinely useful,” says Johannes Relleke, founder of CPH Studios. “The Hygge Blanket feels like a warm hug with a sense of humor. For us, design should spark joy as much as it serves a function.”

The Hygge House

The blanket is part of a broader interior concept: The Hygge House—an intimate creator experience that celebrates nature, travel, and the joy of togetherness. As an extension of the Hygge House, the Atelier Hygge will travel through retail and present a collection of designs that enriches the cozy winter times in- and outside your home. Products that allow you to present the perfect gift to yourself and/or your loved ones during the holidays.

Limited Edition Blanket

The Copenhagen Studios x Maison Deux limited edition blanket, numbered and handwritten, is woven in Lithuania and certified with the Woolmark and OEKO-TEX label. Wool is 100% biodegradable and therefor does not contribute to microplastic pollution in our oceans or on our land. Wool is a circular fibre. It's 100% natural, 100% renewable and 100% biodegradable. The New Zealand wool blanket comes in three colorways, called Silver Pink, Soft Lilac and Calm Linen.

Matching Slippers

To complete the cozy at-home experience, Copenhagen Studios is launching a capsule of super-soft, matching slippers in the same three colorways. Hand-crafted in Portugal from 100% premium lamb fur, they bring Copenhagen Studios’ signature quality and minimalist style straight into the comfort of your living room.
