Oakley and Kiko Kostadinov release runway Ellipse eyewear in limited edition

Sports eyewear brand Oakley and London-based label Kiko Kostadinov are making their eyewear collaboration available to buy for the first time since it appeared on the Paris Fashion Week runway in March. The release centres on Oakley's Ellipse model, offered in limited-edition colourways with feather and wood grain motifs.
The colour treatments were developed by Laura and Deanna Fanning, the twin sisters who lead womenswear at Kiko Kostadinov, together with Oakley's design team. The frames were part of the label's autumn/winter 2026 womenswear collection.
Feathers and wood grain
The collection drew on Cindy Sherman's 1992 photographic series 'Fitcher's Bird', with natural patterns and bird plumage shaping its colour palette. The same references carry over to the Ellipse frame.
"Rethinking the Ellipse as a part of our collection allowed us to work with the team on custom-designed treatments for their frames," the Fanning sisters said. They added that the enlarged wood grain and feather patterns reference the collection's themes of birdwatching and the outdoors, which also connect to Oakley's own focus on the outdoors.
Two colourways
The Ellipse combines a circular shape with curved details inspired by the 1990s, and takes its name and outline from Oakley's ellipse logo. The limited edition comes in two colourways, Amherst Fade and Woodgrain, both fitted with Oakley's Prizm Bronze lenses.
The frames are available now from selected Kiko Kostadinov stockists, on the Kiko Kostadinov and Oakley websites, and at selected Oakley stores and retail partners worldwide.
