US eyewear brand Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, and Paris-based running label Satisfy have released the eighth chapter of their collaboration, 'Equipment for our World'. It follows chapter VII, a heat-focused running collection released in June.

The new chapter centres on two eyewear styles taken from opposite ends of Oakley's design archive, alongside three apparel pieces. According to the brands, all of them are built around ventilation, intended to keep air moving and vision clear during runs.

The first frame is the Scar, which Oakley first introduced in 2001 as its first mixed-material frame, drawing on its Jacket and X-Metal families. Satisfy has reworked it in two colourways, Falcon and X-Silver Metal, with an O Matter frame joined by a metal hinge. Both versions come with vented Prizm lenses made exclusively for the collaboration.

The second style, the Suture Jacket, is a newer high-wrap frame with a spiked silhouette. It is fitted with Unobtainium nosepads, which Oakley says grip more firmly as the wearer sweats, and comes in Grey Smoke and Transparent Yellow with vented Prizm Black lenses developed for the collaboration.

The apparel applies the same ventilation focus. The AuraLite Dune long-sleeved tee is made from Japanese micro-jersey with laser-cut perforations, while the AmbientWarp trail cap uses a Cordura-reinforced softshell with a water-repellent finish, ventilation cut into the crown and an adjustable bungee cord. A SoftCell bandana in a silver foil finish, designed to reflect sunlight, completes the line-up.
