US eyewear brand Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, has brought back its Straight Jacket sunglasses from 1999 as the latest release in its MUZM archive programme, which earlier this year also revived the FatCat.
The MUZM Straight Jacket 99 keeps the wrap shape and sculpted profile of the original design. The frame is now made from Oakley's lightweight O-Matter material and fitted with the brand's Prizm lenses.
Three archive colourways
The reissue comes in three limited-edition colourways taken from the archive: 'Prototype', a matte clear frame with Prizm Grey lenses; 'Blood Skull', with Prizm Black lenses; and 'Matte Rootbeer', with Prizm Tungsten lenses.
The sunglasses are available now. 'Prototype' is sold in selected Oakley flagship stores, while 'Blood Skull' and 'Matte Rootbeer' are available in selected Oakley stores and on the brand's website.
