YKK launches No. 3 size of QuickFree® click-TRAK® magnetic zipper globally

YKK Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Koichi Matsushima; hereafter, YKK) has begun the global rollout of the No. 3 size of its QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic zipper, expanding availability beyond China for the first time.

While maintaining the same functionality and ease of operation, the No. 3 size is approximately 60 percent the size of the No. 5 size^*1. This enables applications in lightweight garments, sportswear, hooded apparel, and other similar uses.
*1: The insertion parts are 75 percent smaller in height and 83 percent smaller in width than those of the No. 5 size.

Three Key Functions and Ease of Operation of QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic

QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic features magnets embedded in the left and right open parts, allowing them to automatically attract each other through magnetic force^*2.

In addition, users can easily remove the garment simply by pulling the zipper chain apart from either side without lowering the slider. The product also features a release function in which the slider disengages when a certain amount of force is applied to either side, automatically opening the zipper.
