Hollister to open first South West outlet store at Gloucester Quays

Peel Retail & Leisure has announced that American retailer Hollister, a brand of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., has signed for its debut outlet store in the South West, at Gloucester Quays. The 8,000 sq ft unit sits on High Orchard Street, next to the outlet mall's main entrance and opposite Sostrene Grene and All Saints.

Hollister offers apparel, accessories and fragrance for men and women, along with seasonal collections at outlet prices. The brand's arrival adds to an existing line-up at the scheme that includes Jack Wills, Levi's, The North Face and Adidas.

Gloucester Quays is also home to Berghaus's first standalone store in the region and the only South West outlet location for All Saints. Hollister's signing extends that mix of premium fashion brands alongside the destination's restaurant and leisure offer.

"Securing Hollister for its first South West outlet store demonstrates the strength of the destination and our continued ability to attract engaged audiences," said Paul Carter, asset director at Peel Retail & Leisure. "It was made possible by years of consistent footfall and sales growth, and a tenant mix evolution that means Gloucester Quays is more relevant today than it was yesterday."

The signing follows a strong first half of the year for Gloucester Quays, with rising footfall and continued leasing activity.
