Fred Perry to take on new commercial director

Sportswear and streetwear brand Fred Perry appears

to have taken on a new commercial director, Ann Marie McDonagh, who is currently buying and merchandising director at lifestyle brand Gant UK.

It will be a new role for McDonagh, who prior to joining Gant six years ago, was merchandising manager at Monsoon Accessorize, head of merchandising at fashion label Ghost and merchandiser at Fenn Wright Manson.

McDonagh is likely to join the Fred Perry team sometime next year, reported Drapers as both companies declined to comment.
