Missguided.co.uk sales up by 260 percent in 2012

British affordable fashion e-tailer Missguided.co.uk

has reported an impressive 260 percent increase in sales for the full year 2012, compared to the previous year. Missguided also registered a 25 percent hike in December sales.

December was also a month to remember for the fashion retailer, founded in 2009, as Missguided.co.uk reported a 25 percent sales increase and a 270 percent compared to same month in 2011.

In fact, with an average monthly visits growth rate of 20 percent, December has marked its best month to date, as the company declared this week.

“Our results are testament to the success of a streamlined brand marketing and product development strategy for 2012. Given the broad economic climate and the competitive climate, the year could have been a tough one, but unwavering commitment to strengthening our product offering, through both our buying and new in-house design team and to developing the Missguided brand identity - be it on the site itself, social media platforms or through our talked-about creative campaigns - has driven sales to record highs. 2013 will see us further our ambitious intentions – in particular, expanding our presence internationally and developing our mobile offering, engaging a new and global audience,” Nitin Passi, Founder and Chief Executive of Missguided commented Wednesday.
