Patrick Janelle wins first CFDA Instagram Award

Graphic designer Patrick Janelle, otherwise known as @aguynamedpatrick has won the first annual

CFDA Instagrammer of the year award.

After collaborating with another CFDA nominee, Thom Browne, to create a fashion story on his Instagram account, he was voted the overall winner by the public and received over 100,000 'likes' on the social media site.

Tonight he will be given the chance to attend CFDA annual awards as the council's official Instagram correspondent.
