Pitti Uomo has released its initial attendance figures, stating it saw a 2,5 percent increase in buyer turnout for its 93rd men's fashion edition. This is a modest increase from January which counted approximately 24,000 buyers.

A note published by Pitti Imagine last Thursday stated there were 500 more buyers registered than at the same time last season. In terms of markets Germany, Japan, UK, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, France, China, Korea, Switzerland, USA, Russia are the first twelve foreign countries in terms of presence. In addition there were buyers in attendance from new markets such as Mexico, Australia, Brazil and India as well more traditional markets such as Austria, Portugal, including the northern European countries, like Norway and Finland, the latter the guest nation of this Pitti Uomo edition.

Interestingly, there was a formidable presence from Eastern Europe, with Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary, the top three attending markets. They were followed by the Balkans (Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia) as well as Estonia.
