London’s contemporary fashion trade fair, Pure London, has been shortlisted for ‘Best Trade Show’ at this year’s EN Awards. Set to take place on April 28, at Park Plaza, Westminster, the awards ceremony will see Pure compete against seven other trade fairs for the title, including Autumn Fair, 100% Design, London Vet Show and Business Travel Show.

“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, we have worked hard to make the show an all-important and inspiring order-writing event on the buying calendar,” said Julie Driscoll, Portfolio Director for Pure London on the nomination. “A huge thanks goes to all of our brands and the buyers involved in supporting us throughout this journey. We have received numerous amounts of positive comments on the energetic vibe and themes throughout the shows; to be shortlisted is a testament to all of our customers.”

Pure London’s shortlisting comes after the trade show made a significant transformation with its format to suit buyers and retailers from about the world. According to the trade show’s organisation, i2i Events Group, the event finished on a “high”, with menswear being introduced to the trade fair for the first time. "Pure London is an unparalleled event within the fashion industry. With menswear brands and luxury Pure Premium recently joining the hundreds of exhibitors and designers from all over the world, it is no surprise to hear that Pure London has been nominated for Best Trade Show," added Bryony Stone, Editor of Wonderland Magazine.

The next edition of Pure is set to take place in July and will translate the same sense of newness the trade fair has been focusing on through its new theme, ‘A Life Less Ordinary.’ The theme for SS17 is derived from WGSN key trends and inspirations for the season.
