Contemporary fashion trade show Pure London has been shortlisted for the best UK trade show at this year's AEO Excellence Awards. Set to take place on June 17, at the Grosvenor House, London, the AEO Excellence celebrates its 40th anniversary showcasing the best events the industry has to offer in the UK.
The award nomination comes not long after Pure London announced its new theme for next season, known as A Life Less Ordinary which looks to bring together "the creative, the inspirational and the non-conformist," according to Pure London. Last season saw the trade show debut its Menswear section, as well as its Pure Premium section, Premium footwear and Retail Lab.
"We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for an AEO Excellence award, we work hard to make the show an all-important and inspiring order-writing event on the buying calendar," commented Julie Driscoll, Portfolio Director of Pure London. "We'd like to say a big thank you to all of our brands and buyers involved in supporting us throughout the show. We received a huge amount of positive comments last season and we will ensure the show in July is just as energetic."
"To be shortlisted for such an award is a testament to all of our customers." Pure London has been investing in its show over the past four seasons and has made a significant transformation with buyers and retailers. The changes implemented have been welcomed by visitors and exhibitors a like, with Pure London being shortlist for the Best Trade Show A ward at the EN Awards earlier this year.
