This year it’s the 60th anniversary of Christian Dior’s revolutionary ‘New Look’, which is celebrated with the launch of ‘60 Years of Style – from Christian Dior to John Galliano’.

Fashion house Dior was set up in 1947 and developed into one of the most infamous fashion couture houses. '60 Years of Style' illustrates how times have changed and the evolution of fashion in its highest form.

Photographer Laziz Hamani captured 150 designs selected from 120 couture shows presented by Dior. The photographs are complimented with images of contemporary fashion photographers by the likes of Nick Knight, Irving Penn, Henry Clarke and Richard Avedon.

’60 Years of Style - from Christian Dior to John Galliano’ by Farid Chenoune, a fashion historian and French literature specialist, is published by Thames&Hudson. The fashion book is available for £90.
