The United States Polo Association, is the official "non-profit" governing body for the sport of polo in the United States since 1890.

U.S. Polo Assn. licenses its brands worldwide, and its revenues support the sport of polo. The U.S. Polo Assn. Brand is available in department stores, specialty stores and in mono-brand stores in the Americas, Asia, Scandinavia, Russia and Eastern European Countries.

 

Since 1999 the business expanded explosively, within seven years the worldwide retail revenues of the U.S. Polo Assn. Brand surpassed the 1 billion US$ line and the ongoing expansion in Europe will care for a strong boost in the near future.

 

After a six years lawsuit with Polo Ralph Lauren, U.S. Polo Assn. could face a remarkable victory when a federal court decided in autumn 2006 that U.S. Polo Assn. could use their fabulous horse-and-rider logos, which will create enormous additional opportunities in the marketplace.
