Burberry’s Pre-Fall line has been given a fresh edge with the help of model Adwoa Adoah.

In keeping with the brand’s signature vintage ads, the fashion house’s latest campaign promo offers a glimpse into old world Ghana.

The london born beauty, visited the country’s capital Accra, paying tribute to her heritage, for a photoshoot showcasing stunning African-inspired looks.

Shot by renowned photographer Juergen Teller, the colorful series of images capture the 25-year-old not only modeling pieces from the line but reuniting with her family members. Sporting traditional dress, her glowing relatives appear at her side.

Among the attire are one-of-a-kind looks created by her aunt, Ernestina Aboah and accented by red head scarfs, known as dukuas. Also showcased are knitwear, coats, suits and the latest variations of The Belt Bag.

Aboah took to Instagram to celebrate the momentous occasion and share the pride she has towards her roots.

“I tried very hard not to be too emotional about this trip but it’s so special for everyone to see where the story started,” she shared via her Instagram account. “To be in Ghana means coming home. I’ve been able to bring close friends of mine here, and my grandma and my family have had a taste of what the other part of my life is like.”

This marks the third collaboration between Aboah and Burberry, with previous shoots taking place in London and New York.
