American Eagle launches first collaboration with Lamine Yamal

American Eagle is releasing its first product collaboration with Lamine Yamal on Thursday, six weeks after the Barcelona winger lifted the World Cup with Spain.
The collection leans on the loose, streetwear-adjacent style Yamal favours away from the pitch, including baggy denim, cargo trousers, hooded denim jackets, oversized denim shirting and basics. Yamal, who described himself as still "finding my own style" in comments accompanying the launch, is being positioned by the retailer as a conduit to Gen Z consumers.
Yamal's commercial stock has risen sharply since July. Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the final at East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19, taking the country's second men's World Cup title and its first since 2010. At 19, Yamal became the youngest player to hold both a World Cup and a European Championship winner's medal.
His endorsement roster spans Adidas, OPPO, Powerade and Beats by Dre alongside American Eagle. He also appears in Loewe tailoring through the Spanish federation's separate four-year agreement with the house.
American Eagle signed Yamal as global brand ambassador in January 2026 on a five-year term — the retailer's first significant push into sports culture.
The 29-piece range lands on AE.com and in selected US stores, priced from 15.95 to 139.95 dollars.
