Asos teams up with Need for Speed Payback

Asos has teamed up with EA Games to launch collaboration garment based on its leading racing game, Need for Speed Payback.

The online retailer is the only fashion collaborator for the company's new Need for Speed Payback game, with the collection launching globally on November 10. For the first time ever, players are able to customise the characters outfits in the game and in honor of this change Asos has styled the garments for the three main characters.

For the Need for Speed Payback collection, Asos has designed an original menswear t-shirt, which can be worn by the main character Tyler the racer in the game, which will be stocked exclusively on Asos and randomly distributed in 100 games boxes around the globe. "We are really excited to support the Need for Speed launch and for the opportunity to blend the reality of our designed product within this virtual world," said Asos Creative Director John Mooney.

Asos's in-house designers worked closely with EA Games graphics team to better understand the characters personalities in order to create the right styles that reflect certain looks from Asos's main line collections. Need for Speed Payback is set to launch worldwide on November 10.
