Australian fashion label launches on Asos marketplace

Australian fashion label Azela, known for its glamorous eveningwear and cocktail dresses, has launched onto Asos’ marketplace as it looks to increase its global market reach.

The launch of Azela on Asos marketplace marks the first Australian fashion label to use the platform, which hosts independent brands and vintage boutiques from around the world, and allows the brand to bring its eveningwear label to a UK audience.

Having only launched earlier this year by designer Tanja Coyne, the Azela label has found success in offering glamorous yet edgy designs, with many of their designs on the marketplace being made-to-order offering quality eveningwear between 145 and 225 pounds.

Based in Perth, western Australia, all pieces are designed and created in Australia, and its marketplace is currently offering more than 200 different designs featuring full-length and knee-length gowns in a variety of colours and silhouettes.

Founder and designer Coyne explains the brand: “The Azela woman is very confident, powerful and believes in her own self-worth. So when I make each dress, I think about the gal that would be wearing it and how through our pieces we can really allow for their confidence and strength to shine. Most of our dresses are very fitted and really worship the female physique in a glamorous way.”
