London's most expensive trousers can now be admired in Harvey Nichols. John Galliano's creation, a one-off pair of suede men's trousers lined with duchesse satin and black Swarovski crystal skull designs down each side seam, is signed by Galliano himself. The tag with his signature can be removed for drycleaning purposes. The trousers cost a whopping GBP 8,580.

Richard Gray, press manager at Harvey Nichols said: "We launched Galliano's menswear for autumn/winter 2004-5 and decided that men wanted something really special this season - something with provenance. These trousers are a real investment piece for a true Galliano fan. And they'd look equally sexy on a woman as a man." Ah yes, we'll leave this one to the lucky few.
